Safmarine Nomazwe 102A – Severe Delays in Cape Town
24/02/2010
Dear Customer,

We regret to advise that Cape Town terminal went windbound again and vessel would not be able to berth until Friday 26th earliest. As this will then be one week late against schedule and will also have an impact on the Northbound and next Southbound vessels (and also the return to Cape Town of the Safmarine Nomazwe herself) the decision has been taken to omit Cape Town southbound in order to recover the schedule. Whilst this decision will obviously have a detrimental impact on Cape Town imports (containers will be retained onboard for CPT2, eta 04th March) it must be recognised that these are delays outside of our control and that the decision was taken in order to minimise delays to the SAECS schedule as a whole

If there are any further amendments to the schedule you will be notified immediately.
